My last two lab sessions were the Zeeman Effect and Faraday Effect. I could see by myself how physics was so beautiful after doing those experiment. I saw myself how the light can have the interaction with some properties. The Zeeman effect is the splitting of a spectral line into several components in the presence of a static magnetic field. It is about the splitting of a spectral line into several components in the presence of an electric field.
The Faraday effect or Faraday rotation is a magneto-optical phenomenon, or an interaction between light and a magnetic field.
